MedRoute Desk publishes practical guides for people who want to become medical couriers and for independent drivers who already run medical delivery routes in the United States.
What we cover
- Getting started: what the job involves and what to check before a first route.
- Finding work: how medical delivery work is organized and how to evaluate an offer.
- Pay, costs, and profit: what a route really pays once miles, time, and vehicle costs are counted.
- Vehicles and equipment, documents and requirements, routes and proof of delivery.
What we are not
We are not a courier company, a staffing agency, or a training provider. We do not post job offers, we do not sell certifications, and we never promise income. When we discuss rules, we separate federal or state requirements from the conditions that individual companies set.
How we work
Articles are based on official sources, such as the U.S. Department of Transportation and PHMSA, OSHA, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the IRS. Each article lists its sources and the date its facts were last checked. Examples with numbers are clearly labeled as hypothetical. Read our Editorial Policy for details.
